Minutes of the Special Meeting <br />July 2~, 1955 <br />The- Council of the ~i7.]sa.ge of riayfield met in special meeting at <br />the ~il7age tIau at 8:00 P® M® pu,:suant to notice given to all members of <br />Council, according to,law. Mayor Endress presided. <br />Ralf Ca11a Present m I~Iessrs Strater, Taylor, whiting, Beard g$ Oatess. <br />' Absent _ Z`Zr. Swanson. <br />As this meeting was called specifically to consider the Robley <br />Lane Bevelopment, P~a.yor Ehdress asked that the reading of auy minutes of <br />preceding meetings be dispensed with and that Council give its entire <br />attention to the matter in hand, <br />Mayes Endress reported that the Zoning and Planning Commission had <br />met on~Fx~.day the 22nd and had gone over the plans and had approved the <br />tracings-of the final plans. Mr. Bemore reported that a few changed had <br />been made which were mere formalities and dia3 not effect the plans. <br />As Council had understood that l~r. Robley was going to file a bond <br />at this point, r'~x°. Ede]~nan asked = if this had been done. Mr. Robley reported <br />that he did not ltnot~ whether he wanted to file a bond and was told that he <br />could either put in the improvements or put up a bond, but could not get a <br />bu-.ilding permit `for this development until he had complied faith the ordinance. <br />Mr. Edelman then told Council that the only thing that could be done was to <br />approve the final p7.an~ and that the developer could rely on such approval <br />in ma.king improvements. ~ .. <br />Mr. Beard then introduced Resolution No. 29~. entitled: "A Resolution <br />Approving the Final Plan of Proposed Robley Subdivision No. 1. of .Part of <br />Os°iginal Sublots Nos. 37 and_~.7" which resolution was read to Council. <br />It was moved by NTr. Taylor, seconded by r~. Strater, that the <br />rules of law requiring a resolution to be read three times be suspended. <br />Roll. Ca1J.s Ayes ®Strater, Taylor' whiting,. Beard & Oates~s. <br />Nays - Nonea . <br />Motion carried <br />Roles Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Taylor' seconded by Mr. Strater, that Resolution <br />No. 29~ be approved. and adopted as read. - <br />Ro]1 Call: Ayes -Messrs Strater, Taylors ~Jhiti.ng9 Beard ~= Catess. <br />Nays - Nons. <br />_ Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />- 1. <br />
