Dahlgren, Police Clerk <br />Mayor Endress stated that NIr. Dunbar's six months probationary <br />period as a police officer had been completed this month but that Yie was not <br />prepared to recommend his permanent appointment. Mayor Endress suggested <br />that Mro Dunbar be appointed for another six months period on a probationary <br />basiso <br />It was moved by Mr. Taylor, seconded by Mr. Beard, that Tyr. Dunbar <br />be appointed for six months on.a probationary basis. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Taylor,Beard,Strater,Oatess,Swanson & Brown. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Appointment confirmed <br />Mr. DeMore reported that his company had checked the petitions on <br />Worton Park, Woodlane, South Woodlane and North Z~Toodlane and Norman Lane and <br />found aI1 to be over the required 60/. However, in several cases where the <br />property was listed to husband and wife,. one or the other had signed. Mr. <br />DeMore said that in these cases the signatures would have to be checked and <br />brought into form and gave them to Mayor Endress to give to Mr. Hoffman for <br />more signatures. <br />The Finance Committee having looked over the pay ordinance, it was <br />moved by Mr, Strater, seconded by ~'1r. Swanson, that Pay Ordinance No. 387-P <br />be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Taylor,Beard,Strater,Oatess,Swanson & Brown. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Pay Ordinance Passed <br />It was moved by Mr. Swanson, seconded by Mr. Taylor, that Council <br />dispense with the regular meeting of November 21, 195, as all business had <br />been disposed of at the special meeting of November 18, 1955. <br />Rou Cal l: Ayes - Njessrs Taylor,Beard,Strater,Oatess,Swanson & Brown. <br />.
