1 Minutes of a Special Meeting Held July 10, 1950 The Council of the Village of Mayfield m®t at the Town Hall in,a Special Meeting, duly cared, on the_lOth day of July, 1950, at 8x30 o'clock P. M®, PJlayor Gustave Swansoxt prosidinge Ro11 Ca11: Present Messrs Hardman, Scheuring, Taylor, Godfrey and Cass. Absent F1Ir. Halle The Clerk, Mr. Herbert R. TNhiting, submitted data concerning expenditures during the year 1949 and the first half of 1950, together z~rith suggestions concerning the revision, of the appropriations for 1950 axxd the budget for 19514 After discussion, it was moved by Mr. Soheuring, seconded by IvIr. Godfrey, that the budget presented by the Clerk, tim.th certain changes made by Council, be adopted and submitted for consideration to the County Budget Commission, and that the Clerk prepare a revised appropriation bill for the year 1950 to be submitted at a later moeting. Ro11 Call: Ayes - ~4essrs Hardma'o, Scheua~ng, Taylor, Godfrey aY1d Cass. Nays -None, Motion Carried. Fire Chief Porter addressed the moeting briefly concerning the advisability of purchasing a tank truck from The Standard Oil Company for use by the Fire Departm©nt, This matter was discussed, but no actiotativas taken at this time. ' The Clerk presented the plans of the East Ohio Gas Company for certain pipe lines to be laid in the Village® It was moved by Mr. Godfrey, seconded by Mr. Hardman, that the C1e rk be instructed to notify the Gas Company that those plans were approved. Roll Call: Ayes - idessrs Hardman,, Schevring, Taylor, Godfrey .and Cass® Idays -None. Motion Carried. 1 There being no further business to come before the Council, upon Motion made, seconded and put to vote, the meeting adjoua~ed.
