f <br />Minutes of Council 147eeting <br />April 16, 1951 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield mot at the Town Hall in <br />regular m©eting on the 16th day of April, 1951 at 8:00 P. Pd., 3~ayor <br />Gustav Svranson presiding. <br />Roll Call: Present -Messrs. Hardman, Scheuring, Taylor, Godfrey and <br />Hall <br />Absent - Pfirs. Cass. <br />The Tlu.nutes of the regular meeting held March 19, 1951 were read <br />to the. Council. It was moved by Mr. Godfrey, seconded by P:Ir. Taylor, that <br />the minutes be approved as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - TuTessrs. Hardman, Scheuring, Taylor, Godfrey and <br />Hall . <br />Nayes -.l'Ione. <br />Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved. <br />It was moved by Mr. Godfrey, seconded by Mr. Tailor, that the building <br />committee secure the sex~vlces of an electrician to install the new lights <br />in the Council Chax~bor. <br />Ro11 Call: Ayes -Messrs. Hardmana Scheuring, Taylor, Godfrey axxd <br />Hall. <br />T1 aye s -.Non e <br />P~Totion Carried. <br />_ ~~. <br />Tho Clerk read to Council the bids received for the purchase of the <br />pro sent police car and for the sale to the Village of a nevr police car. <br />Mr. Godfrey introduced Ordinance No. 370, entitled "An ,Ordinance to Pur- <br />chase a New Police Automobile and to-Sell the Present Police Automobile", <br />~;vhich Ordinance was read to the Council. It was moved by itir. Taylor, _ <br />seconded by I~~Ir. Hardman, that the rules of.law requiring a.n Ordinance to <br />b© read on three_separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll"Call: Ayes -Messrs. Hardman, Scheuring, Taylor, Godfrey and <br />Hall. <br />Nayes -.lIone. <br />Motion Carried , <br />Rules Suspended'. <br />It was moved by T:1r. riall, seconded by Mr. Scheuring, that Ordinance <br />Too 370, be passed as read. . <br />Roll Call: Ayes - TVlessrs.
