T~:I., Mayor <br />Gustav Swanson presiding. <br />Roll Call: PrQ:sent - ~essrs® Hardman, Scheuring, Taylors Godfrey, <br />Cass and Hall . <br />Absent -None <br /> <br />Tiayor Swanson reforred to .Ordinance No0 360, which established the <br />Architectural Board of Review, mid stated that he had received numerous <br />complaints concerning the functioning of the board. Tho Clerk read tY~ <br />Ordinance to Council erid the Tvlayor then declared the meeting to be open <br />for genoral discussion of the subject. <br />Tsr. I)enner addressed the meeting on behalf of the Board, as did the <br />village architect, ~2r. Rowley. T,~r. Chandler, the roal ostate editor of <br />The Cleveland Press, inquired concerizing the board4s criticism of a set <br />of plaxi,s furnished by the Press. Several home builders and home owners <br />oomm©lated on'their experiences with the Board. <br />It was moved by ll2r. Taylor, seconded by Tt2r. IIa,7.1, that the Board os^ <br />Architec•L-ural Review, be given a vote of confidence and that they be <br />tenderod the appreciation of Council for their oxcellent and public <br />spirited ti~rorlr in carrying out the purposo and intent of the Ordinance. <br />Ro11 Call: Ayes - ~Ilessrs.
