- Minutes of the Regular Meeting <br />J anuary 21, 1952 <br />The Council off the Village of Mayfield met at the Town Hall in <br />regular meeting on the 21st day of January, 1952, at 8:00 P.P.4., Mayor <br />Gustav Swanson presiding. ~ - <br />Roll Call: Present ~ Messrs.•Waltz, Sloan, Oatess, Scheuring 8c Cass. <br />Absent - Mr. Endres <br />The Council members were administered the oath of office by Mr. <br />Arnold M. Edelman, a Notary Public. <br />The minutes of the regular meeting of December 17, 1951 were read <br />by the Clerk. It tivas moved by Mrs. Cass, seconded by Mr. Scheuring, that <br />the minutes be approved as read. <br />Ro11 Ca11: Ayes - Messrs. Waltz, Sloan, Oatess, Scheuring & Cass. <br />Nays -None = <br />Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />Mr. Edelman administered the oath of office to Mayor Gustav Swanson. <br />His bond will be presented at the next m®eting. <br />The Clerk, Dorothy Lewis Gibb, fil©d her bond with the Treasurer. <br />I~dr. Edelman then administered the oath of office to Pdrs. Gibb. <br />The Treasurer, John Gibb, filed his bond with the Clerk. Mr. <br />Edelman administered the oath of office to Mr. Gibb. <br />The Mayor made a b rief statement to the effect that h® hoped that <br />the next •two year tex°m ~rould be one of progress, and that the Council and <br />the Mayor would work together harmoniously, always keeping the welfare of <br />the Village in mind. <br />It was moored by Mrs. Cass, second©d by Mra Sloan, that ivIx~. Carl <br />Scheuring be elected President pro tem of the Council. <br />Roll Call: Ayes o Messrs. Waltz, Sloan, Oatess ~ Cass. <br />Nays _ Mr. Scheuring <br />PJlotion Carried <br />PJtr. Edelman then administered the oath of office to Mr. Scheuring. <br />nJlr.
