- Minutes of the Regular Meeting J anuary 21, 1952 The Council off the Village of Mayfield met at the Town Hall in regular meeting on the 21st day of January, 1952, at 8:00 P.P.4., Mayor Gustav Swanson presiding. ~ - Roll Call: Present ~ Messrs.•Waltz, Sloan, Oatess, Scheuring 8c Cass. Absent - Mr. Endres The Council members were administered the oath of office by Mr. Arnold M. Edelman, a Notary Public. The minutes of the regular meeting of December 17, 1951 were read by the Clerk. It tivas moved by Mrs. Cass, seconded by Mr. Scheuring, that the minutes be approved as read. Ro11 Ca11: Ayes - Messrs. Waltz, Sloan, Oatess, Scheuring & Cass. Nays -None = Motion Carried Minutes Approved Mr. Edelman administered the oath of office to Mayor Gustav Swanson. His bond will be presented at the next m®eting. The Clerk, Dorothy Lewis Gibb, fil©d her bond with the Treasurer. I~dr. Edelman then administered the oath of office to Pdrs. Gibb. The Treasurer, John Gibb, filed his bond with the Clerk. Mr. Edelman administered the oath of office to Mr. Gibb. The Mayor made a b rief statement to the effect that h® hoped that the next •two year tex°m ~rould be one of progress, and that the Council and the Mayor would work together harmoniously, always keeping the welfare of the Village in mind. It was moored by Mrs. Cass, second©d by Mra Sloan, that ivIx~. Carl Scheuring be elected President pro tem of the Council. Roll Call: Ayes o Messrs. Waltz, Sloan, Oatess ~ Cass.
