~I <br />_J <br />Minutes of the Regulap Meeting <br />June 16, 1952 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met at the Town Hall in <br />regular meetir~ on the 16th day of June at x:00 P. M., Mayor Gustav Swanson <br />presiding. <br />Roll Ca1.1: Present - Messrs Waltz, Sloan, Endress, Scheuring, <br />Cass and Oatessm <br />Absent -None. <br />The Minutes of the regular meeting of May 19, 1952, were read by <br />the Solicitor, Mr. Edelman. It was moved by Mr. Sloan, seconded by Mr. <br />Scheuring, that the minutes .be approved as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs 1"faltz, Sloan, Scheuring~ Cass, <br />Endress and Oatess. <br />Nays - None <br />Motion Carried <br />I~Qinutes Approved <br />Mr. Gordon McKay presented the bids received for the purchase of <br />~I~0,000,00 issue of Bonds of Mayfield Village for the purpose of paying <br />the Villagers portion of the cost of constructing water mains. Bids <br />received were: <br />Pohl and Compar~p of Cincinnati, Ohio - !~~ - $26l~.00 premium <br />Hayden, Miller & Co. of Cleveland, 0.- 3z~ par - no premium. <br />Mr. McKay, the Financial Advisor for the Village, recommended that <br />_the Hayden, M;iier & Co. bid be accepted, as the best submitted. <br />Resolution No® 202 entitleds "An Emergency Resolution Accepting <br />and Awarding the Bid of Hayden, ~fller & Co®, For the Purchase of ~?~0,000.00 <br />Issue of Bonds of Mayfield Village, Ohio, For the°Purpose of Providing a~Fund <br />to Pay the Vi].1age Portion of the Cost of Constructing Water Mains in Certain <br />Roads and Streets in Mayfield Vi]1age, Ohio" was introduced by Mr. Sloan, <br />which Resolution was read to Council. <br />It was moved by Mrs. Cass, seconded by Mr. Endress, that the rules <br />of law requiring a Resolution to be read on three separate occasions be <br />suspended. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Waltz, Sloan, Endress, Scheuring, Cass & Oatess. <br />Nays - None. <br />.
