!~ <br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting <br />August 18, 1952 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met at the Tovm Ha11 in <br />regular meeting on the 18th day of August at 8:00 P, M., Mayor Gustav <br />Swanson presiding. - <br />Roll Call: Present - Messrs Sloan, Endress,Scheuring, Oatess <br />Absent - 'Messrs Waltz, Cass. <br />The ~4inutes of the regular meeting of July 21, 1952, vaere read <br />by the Clerk. It was moved by Mr. Endress, seconded by Mr. Oatess, that <br />the minutes be approved as read. <br />Roll Ca11: Ayes - Messrs Sloan, Endress, Scheuring, Oatess <br />Nays None. <br />Motion Carx°ied <br />Minutes Approved <br />Mayor Swanson reported that sometime ago a plot plan was presented <br />for "Garden Acres' at Ridgebuxy & Wilson Mills Roads but the Zor~.ng Couuni.ttee <br />has not yet approved the plot. It was decided to defer action on this plan <br />until after consideration of proposed Ordinance No. x.08. <br />Mayor Swanson called the Public Hearing to order. Ordinance No. X08 <br />was read by Mr. Edelman, the SoLcitor. The meeting was thrown open for <br />discussion. A show of hands after discussion indicated that the majority <br />of-the people present were in favor of Ordinance No. I~08, increasing the <br />front footage of future developments to 100 feet, and the min'mum area to <br />20,000 square feet. <br />It was moved by Mr. Sloan, seconded by Mr. Scheuring, that the <br />passing or rejection of Ordinance No. l~08 be tabled until the September <br />meeting. <br />Roll Ca11: Ayes - Sloan, Endress, Scheuring, Oatess <br />Nays - None© - <br />Motion Carried <br />Mr. Edelman advised Council of two resolutions that should be <br />passed' but due, to the fact that only four members of council were present' <br />and motions to suspend rules could not be passed, it was decided that the <br />resolutions should be given their first readings. <br />Mr. Endress introduced Resolution No. 208 entitled: "A Resolution <br />Designating National City Bank of Cleveland A Depository For the Village Of <br />Mayfield~p, which Resolution was read to Council. <br />Mr. Scheuring introduced Resolution No. 209, entitled: "A Resolution <br />Authorizing Substitution of Securities in Safe Keeping Account', which <br />resolution was read to Council. <br />1. <br />
