!~ Minutes of the Regular Meeting August 18, 1952 The Council of the Village of Mayfield met at the Tovm Ha11 in regular meeting on the 18th day of August at 8:00 P, M., Mayor Gustav Swanson presiding. - Roll Call: Present - Messrs Sloan, Endress,Scheuring, Oatess Absent - 'Messrs Waltz, Cass. The ~4inutes of the regular meeting of July 21, 1952, vaere read by the Clerk. It was moved by Mr. Endress, seconded by Mr. Oatess, that the minutes be approved as read. Roll Ca11: Ayes - Messrs Sloan, Endress, Scheuring, Oatess Nays None. Motion Carx°ied Minutes Approved Mayor Swanson reported that sometime ago a plot plan was presented for "Garden Acres' at Ridgebuxy & Wilson Mills Roads but the Zor~.ng Couuni.ttee has not yet approved the plot. It was decided to defer action on this plan until after consideration of proposed Ordinance No. x.08. Mayor Swanson called the Public Hearing to order. Ordinance No. X08 was read by Mr. Edelman, the SoLcitor. The meeting was thrown open for discussion. A show of hands after discussion indicated that the majority of-the people present were in favor of Ordinance No. I~08, increasing the front footage of future developments to 100 feet, and the min'mum area to 20,000 square feet. It was moved by Mr. Sloan, seconded by Mr. Scheuring, that the passing or rejection of Ordinance No. l~08 be tabled until the September meeting. Roll Ca11: Ayes - Sloan, Endress, Scheuring, Oatess Nays - None© - Motion Carried Mr. Edelman advised Council of two resolutions that should be passed' but due, to the fact that only four members of council were present' and motions to suspend rules could not be passed, it was decided that the resolutions should be given their first readings. Mr. Endress introduced Resolution No. 208 entitled: "A Resolution Designating National City Bank of Cleveland A Depository For the Village Of Mayfield~p, which Resolution was read to Council. Mr. Scheuring introduced Resolution No. 209, entitled: "A Resolution Authorizing Substitution of Securities in Safe Keeping Account', which resolution was read to Council. 1.
