IT RESOL'VED by the Council of the Village of Akayfield, Section lm That a sidewalk shall be constx°ucted on the Easterly sido of S.Q.M. Center Road fram the Southerly boundary of the Village of IMayf'a.eld to the 1Vortherly line of the property notiv owned by Sessie Monahan, of the character and in the following mannert ?.-._.,,?„? .t,-...?.... The sicietivmlk shall be of ston.e f lagginge Said stone flagging shall be sawed from sound, hard and durable gray sand- stone, Berea, Amherst, or equal. It shall be free from all checks, seans, and/or o-ther 11aws, and tie in qualzty and dressing accept- able to the Engineer, and in all respects equal to the sample subrnitted with bid. Stone shall not be less thari tgao and one-half (22). inches in thicYness for wallcsg. and not less than four (4) inches in thiokness fbr driveways. Tt shall not be less than thx°ee (3) ? feet in length, and not less in width than the full width of the walk fo r vYalks eight (8) f°eet in width, and nat less tha.n four (4) feet in tividth f.br walks more than. eight (8) feet in width. The face o#° the flagging shall ba smooth, anci in evsry° directioaa true to a straight edge. Sides shall be strai.ght and dressed so that joints in the walk wi1l be closed f'or the upper one and one-ha,lf (12) inch, and not more than one (1) inch open at tlie bottom, and in aceordance wa.th the plans and specifica- tions now on file in the off'ice of the Clerk of sAid Village. Section Z. That the Clerlc of the Counaal be and he is hereby directed to cause a written notice of the pussage of this reso- lution to be serveci as raquix°ed by law. Section 3. That for the purpose of° soraing sa3d noticss, A.L. Bishop, Jro,'is hereby authorized and empowered as an Assistant to sai d Clerlc to serve copies of gaid raotice as requi.red herein and the rat.e of compensA-tion shall be not more than One Dollar ($1.00) per notice.
