f _ `. <br />r <br />ORDINANCE N0. 80- ~'6 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Bennett <br />that: <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 133.03 <br />OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE <br />REGARDING AUTHORIZED SIGNATURES ON CHECKS AND <br />LdITHDRAWAL SLIPS <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio <br />Section 1. Section 133.03 of the Codified Ordinances <br />of Mayfield Village, Ohio, shall be amended to read as follows: <br />133.03 AUTHORIZED SIGNATURES <br />All checks and withdrawal slips on bank accounts <br />of the municipality shall be signed by either the Finance <br />Director o~ the Mayor and shall be countersigned by the <br />Director of Law or an Assistant Director of Law. <br />_ Section 2. This is an emergency ordinance immediately <br />necessary for the health, welfare and safety of the residents <br />- of Mayfield Village in that it provides for certain necessary <br />fiscal controls. Tt shall therefore take effect immediately <br />upon passage by the affirmative vote of not less than five <br />members elected to Council and approval by the Mayor or other- <br />wise at the earliest time allowed by law. <br />Section 3. Immediately upon passage of this ordinance <br />the Clerk is authorized, empowered and directed to certify a <br />copy to each bank in which the municipality currently maintains <br />an account and to obtain new signature cards for such accounts <br />at the earliest possible time. <br />President of Council <br />PASSED: ~. _ , , - - <br />APPROVED: <br />Robert G.
