P.ARi~ER <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 4 OF ORDIld_4NCE NO. 173 <br />HERETOFORE PASSED BY THIS COUNCIL. <br />BE IT ORDAIN:~D BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF I~AyFTEr_,D, <br />CUYAHOGA COUndTY; OHIO, that: <br />Section 1. Section 4 of Ordinance No. 173 entitled "An Ordinance <br />to Provide for a Special Policemen" passed by this Council on the 20th day <br />of December, 1936 be, and the same hereby is, amended so that the same shall <br />read as follo~w~s: <br />"Section 4. Such Special Policeman shall be paid the sum <br />of Three Hundred Forty-eight Dollars 0348.00) a year in <br />substanti-ally equal monthly or semi-monthly instal7lnents <br />as full compensation for the duties performed by him and <br />he shall give bond in the sum of Five Hundred Dollars <br />(~,n500.0O) . rr <br />Section 2. This Ordinance is hereby decle.red to be ,an Emergency <br />Ordinance necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health, <br />safety, convenience and ~rrelfare for reasons apparent from the content of <br />this Ordinance .and therefore, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in <br />force from .and after June 19 1946. <br />Pa.s sed the 20th day of Msy Ii.
