DE IT ORDuSi~ED by the Council of the Vil_1.age of hayfield, Cuyahoga County, Ohioy that: _ Section l: That the following rules and regulations relative to the platting of land aild the dedication of ne~~ streets to be shown on such plats .and heretafore..approved by the Planning Commission, bey and the same are hereby ada~~ted and promulgated. REG~TLATT~JNS Gt}V?;RNTi$3G THi~ PLA`I"SING GF I,~,ND The terms "allotment" and "subdivision".are used herein synon- ymously :and refer to~ao,Y subdivision of land into either streets ar_d lots, or, into lots, and intended to be recorded as a plat. (1) The plat of .a proposed subdivision shall show al]_ lots and streets by accurate dimension and shall be dram in ink upon good quality tracing cloth. It shall ordinarily be dram ~o either the scale of one inch equals one hundred feats or one inch equals fifty feet. All dimensions shall be sham. in feet and decimals of ~a foot. 7'he flat shall be complete and consistent in itself as to .all measurements. 7.'he streets shovm on the plat shall_ be so names that the?°e t:~il1_ be no duplication of any exist~.ng street n es within Cuyahoga County. .~ duplicate tracing of the record plat shall?_be furnished the Council. (~} The pl~.t sha.Ll sho~~a the location of the terminals of ea:ist- ing streets in ac7.joining property nvi.th such dimensions .as ~:re necessary to sho~z their relation to streets which aro being dedie~~.ted by the plat. The plat shall show the location of monuments placed on the ground to define street Tines. (5) The plat shall contain .a stytemerit from the registered surveyor preparing the same, def?nitely identifying the lands proposed to be dedicated to the public, ~ri.th proper dedicatory c7:ause, all as provided by lave. (•~) Profiles of the streets to be dediea.ted, sho~~i.ng existing s~zrface elevatianand proposed grade of such streets, shall be filed with the Village Engineer. Profiles shall be made upon tracing cloth to the scale of one inch horizontal equals 50. feet, and one inch vertical equals five feet. When recuired by the Vil?_age ~;n.gineery a topographical moo of the territox~ to be a1.~.otted shal_1_ be furnished in .addition to the street profiles. A duplicate tracing shall be furnished the Council. __ (5) An abstract, certificate of titles or guarantee titles -~' meeting the .approval. of the Village Solicitor, of the lands to be dedicated, shall be furrLShed to the Vi1la.ge to become its property. ;~
