S a~vA evso <br />1~N a:f~tDINA.~tCL .~~DQPTII~3G r~ULES' A~TD PEGUL~tiTICNS RFLATIV~ TQ TEL PLATTIitzG <br />QF LAND a~]i~D 'C~ DEDTC~_Tl'ON OP N~~~ STt'~.EE'I'S Tt7 3E SHC~=~'~N ON SUCH PLAT. <br />DE IT ORDuSi~ED by the Council of the Vil_1.age of hayfield, Cuyahoga <br />County, Ohioy that: _ <br />Section l: That the following rules and regulations relative to <br />the platting of land aild the dedication of ne~~ streets to be shown on such plats <br />.and heretafore..approved by the Planning Commission, bey and the same are hereby <br />ada~~ted and promulgated. <br />REG~TLATT~JNS Gt}V?;RNTi$3G THi~ PLA`I"SING GF I,~,ND <br />The terms "allotment" and "subdivision".are used herein synon- <br />ymously :and refer to~ao,Y subdivision of land into either streets ar_d lots, or, <br />into lots, and intended to be recorded as a plat. <br />(1) The plat of .a proposed subdivision shall show al]_ lots and <br />streets by accurate dimension and shall be dram in ink upon good quality tracing <br />cloth. It shall ordinarily be dram ~o either the scale of one inch equals one <br />hundred feats or one inch equals fifty feet. All dimensions shall be sham. in feet <br />and decimals of ~a foot. 7'he flat shall be complete and consistent in itself as to <br />.all measurements. 7.'he streets shovm on the plat shall_ be so names that the?°e t:~il1_ <br />be no duplication of any exist~.ng street n es within Cuyahoga County. .~ duplicate <br />tracing of the record plat shall?_be furnished the Council. <br />(~} The pl~.t sha.Ll sho~~a the location of the terminals of ea:ist- <br />ing streets in ac7.joining property nvi.th such dimensions .as ~:re necessary to sho~z <br />their relation to streets which aro being dedie~~.ted by the plat. The plat shall <br />show the location of monuments placed on the ground to define street Tines. <br />(5) The plat shall contain .a stytemerit from the registered <br />surveyor preparing the same, def?nitely identifying the lands proposed to be <br />dedicated to the public, ~ri.th proper dedicatory c7:ause, all as provided by lave. <br />(•~) Profiles of the streets to be dediea.ted, sho~~i.ng existing <br />s~zrface elevatianand proposed grade of such streets, shall be filed with the <br />Village Engineer. Profiles shall be made upon tracing cloth to the scale of one <br />inch horizontal equals 50. feet, and one inch vertical equals five feet. When <br />recuired by the Vil?_age ~;n.gineery a topographical moo of the territox~ to be <br />a1.~.otted shal_1_ be furnished in .addition to the street profiles. A duplicate <br />tracing shall be furnished the Council. <br />__ (5) An abstract, certificate of titles or guarantee titles <br />-~' meeting the .approval. of the Village Solicitor, of the lands to be dedicated, <br />shall be furrLShed to the Vi1la.ge to become its property. <br />;~ <br />
