ORDINANCE No® t~90 <br />By T~Jr, Taylor <br />AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL ORDINANCE N0. l~.85 <br />~JfiEREAS, on December 20th, 19~l~, the Council of the Vilaage of <br />N~.yfield awarded a bid to the Euclid Ford Company for the purchase of a <br />Ford Ranch ~dagon for the sum of ~,~181~8~00, less a credit of X500,00 for the <br />automobile now used by the Village Police Department, making a net bid of <br />~13~.8®00; and <br />T~Ir~RIlA_S, Council, in makir_g said award, aid in passing Ordinance <br />No. X85, was acting on the representation that said bid Urns for afoot-door <br />vehicle, whereas in truth and in fact it appears that said bid was for a <br />ttiro-door vehicle, and the bid of said Euclid Ford company was not. the lowest <br />and best, -bid for- a two-.door...vehicle, ' <br />NOTnT THEREFORE ,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUTJCIL OF'`-THE 'VILr1AGE OF <br />~AYFIELD;~ CZTYAHOGA_ ,COUNTY . QHl0, THAT: <br />~~Sec, 1. :Council hereby declares ahat~s~id bid of the•Euclid Ford <br />Company i~as riot the lowest and best bid for a four~dcor~vehcle and that the <br />award made to., Euclid. ~'.ord, Company ,was ,-made , through` a ;mistake of fact. <br />Seo. 2...: ~~rdinance ,-No. , ~$5,;.is: hereb~T,.repealed as of the date of its <br />passage.. <br />Sec: -3."
