ORDINANCE N0. 71-~7 <br />BY: DH2. LEECH <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ALTERNATE BID OF <br />MILLER PLUMBING & HEATING CO. FOR HEATING AND <br />VENTILLATING GIORK IN CONNECTION idITA THE <br />RECONSTRUCTION OF THE VILLAGE HALL <br />SdHEREAS, advertisement foz bids has been published according to lava for <br />the heating and ventillating work in connection with the reconstruction of the <br />Village Hall, and <br />S~REAS, the alternate bid of Miller Plumbing & Heating Co., a <br />responsible bidder, in the amount of Five Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($5,900.00) <br />for the air conditioning caork in connection with said reconstruction of the <br />Village Hall, which is not included in its original bid accepted by Ordinance <br />No. 70-50, is the lowest and best bid submitted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the Council of the Village of <br />Mayfield, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, that: <br />Section 1. The alternate bid of Duller Plumbing & Heating Co. for the <br />air conditioning work in connection with the reconstruction of the Village Hall is <br />hereby accepted, and the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed <br />to enter into a contract in writing with said bidder for said purpose, in accordance <br />with the advertised specifications and the alternate bid submitted. <br />Section 2. Said sum of Five Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($5,900.00) <br />is hereby appropriated for said purpose. <br />Section 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />' necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and <br />welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants because it is necessary to <br />' provide housing for the Village operations as soon as possible, and said Ordinance <br />shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 18th day of January, 1971. <br />i <br />~~` ~'"~ MAYOR-PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />ATTEST: <br />~~~ <br />(SEAL) CLERK=T ASURER <br />
