Schmidt <br />AN ORDINANCE TO EMPLOY THE REGIONAL PLANNING <br />COMMISSION TO PREPARE AN UPDATED MASTER PLAN <br />WHEREAS, the Regional Planning Commission of Cuyahoga County has hitherto <br />prepared a Master Plan for land use for the Village of Mayfield, which has never <br />been officially adopted by Council, but should be updated in order to take <br />accountof changing conditions. <br />a <br />~.ii, <br />~.~: <br />c: <br />l~J <br />Q <br />I.a.l <br />~; <br />Q <br />l_J <br />NI' <br />I~ <br />y~ <br />a9 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the Council of the Village of Mayfield, <br />Cuyahoga County, Ohio, that: <br />Section 1. The Mayor and the Clerk-Treasurer are hereby authorized to <br />enter into an agreement in writing with the Regional Planning Commission for the <br />purpose of the latter's preparing an updated Master Plan for land use, the details <br />of which are set forth in a preliminary statement submitted by the Regional <br />Planning Commission and filed with Council. <br />Section 2. The Village will pay an amount not exceeding $6,200.00 to <br />the Regional Planning Commission for such services, to be paid in such installments <br />as may be agreed upon by the Village and the Regional Planning Commission. <br />Section 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and <br />welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants for the reason that it is <br />most important that an updated Master Plan be prepared as soon as possible in older <br />to determine what is the best use for land in this Village, and this Ordinance <br />shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 19th day of April 1971. <br />ATTEST: <br />/~~i~~~' w`"' <br />(SEAL) CLERK- ASURER <br />ZDENT OF COUNCIL <br />
