MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO <br />JANUARY 2, 1963 - 8o20 PoMo <br />Present were Paul J. Gareau, Mayor; Bruce MacDonald, President of Council; Henry <br />Caster, Ralph Christman, James Leonard, A.L. Miangani, Francis J. 0'Neiil, Norman <br />Van Zandto <br />Also present were Lloyd E. Barnes, Service Dir-ector; James T. Wilson, Safety <br />Director; George Schaaf, Law Director; Alex Kainareff, Engineer; William Gerlach, <br />Finance Directdr; and Louise Hall, Clerk. <br />Absento Dewey Lim?:ert <br />The minutes of the meeting of December 18, 1962 were approved as correcteda <br />The Mayor advised of the following re-appointments: <br />Zoning Board of Appeals - William Greene <br />Board of Bui lding Code of App.eals - Jack E°oltz <br />The Mayor read a communication f'rom R. L. Stos-ch, Assistant Superintendent of the <br />North Olmsted Schools, commending the City Administration and personnel for their <br />excellent work during the recent snow storm. <br />The Engineer advised that the engineering cost to make a survey of the storm sewers <br />on Lorain Road would be $1400.00. This matter was turned over to the Public <br />Development and Finance Committees. <br />,.*00ft.. <br />The Engineer presented the following plats to the City Planning Committee: <br />Walter-Maple Subdivision <br />Tree Lane Subdivision No> 2 <br />Mro 0'Neill is now here. <br />The Clerk read a statement from the Regional IPlanning Commission for dues of $910.00 <br />for 1963. This statement was turm ed over to the City Placaning Committee. <br />Mr. J. Walker, 24176 Rosita Lane, inquired if a status report had been received <br />from Floyd Browne & Associates, Ltd. regarding thebackup of sanitary sewer on <br />November 10, 1962 and was advised that Mr. Christman has this report and that it <br />would be available for his review after the meetirag. <br />Resolution No. 62-184. A resolution accepting certain easements in Country Club <br />Boulevard, Great Northern Boulevard and over and upon lands contiguous and adjacent <br />thereto as set forth on the attached plat, and declacing an emergency. Mr. <br />Christman moved, seconded by Mr. Caster, that this resolution be tabled until more <br />information is forthcoming from the Engineer. "Yeas" Caster, Chc°istman, Leonard, <br />Mangani, 0'Neill, Van Zandt. <br />Ordinance Noe 62-223 was given its second reading. Mr. Cho°istman moved, seconded <br />by Mr. Caster, to amend the description in this ordinance to read only 60 ft. north <br />of land conveyed to Charles F. Ludwig and H.R. Ludwig be included in the zoning and <br />the balance of 110 ft. to remain Class C Residence and that the Planning Commission <br />be advised of this amendment. "Yeas" Caster, Christman, Leonard, 0'Neill, Mangani, <br />Van Zandt. <br />Ordinance No. 62-224 was given its second rezidirag. <br />e_., ...., _ <br />, •
