<br />Present were Paul J. Gareau, Mayor; Bruce MacDonald, President of Councit; Henry
<br />Caster, Ralph Christman, James Leonard, Dewe;y Limpert, A.L. Mangani, Francis J.
<br />0'Neill, Norman Van Zandt.
<br />Also present were George Schaaf, ,Law Direct.or; William Gerlach, Finance Director;
<br />and Louise Hall, Clerk
<br />Ordinance No. 63-6 was given its second reading. An ordinance amending Section
<br />1 of Ordinance No. 2792 relating to the dete:rmination of salaries of eiected
<br />Officials of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, and daclaring an emea°gency.
<br />-Mr. ?p?moved, seconded by Mr. Van Zandt, that Section 1 of Ordinance 63-6
<br />be amended as follows:
<br />That begi;nrdng ,lanuary 1, 1964 and thereafter, the salaries
<br />of the following elected officials of the City of North Olmsted,
<br />Ohio are heceby fixed and determined to be as follows:
<br />Mayor Salary $8,000.00 per year
<br />Director of Finance Salary $8,000.00 per year
<br />Director of Law 5alary $8,000.00 per year
<br />President of Council Salary $1,700.00 per year
<br />Members of Council Salary $1,500.00 per year

<br />Mr. Caster moved, seconded by Mr. Christman, that Section 1 of Ordinance 63-6
<br />be amended as follows:
<br />That beginning January 1, 1961+ and thereafter, the salaries
<br />of the fotlowing elected officials of the City of North
<br />Olmsted, Ohio are hereby fixeci and determined to be as follows:
<br />Mayor Salary $7,500.00 per year
<br />Di rector of Finance Salary :?8,000.00 per year
<br />Director of Law Salary $7,500,00 per year
<br />President of Council Satary $1,700.00 per year
<br />Members of Counci 1 Sblary 80,500.00 per yoar

<br />Mr. Limpert moved, seconded by Mre Leonard, t:hat Section l of Ordinance 63-6
<br />be amended as follows:

<br />Olmsted, Ohio are hereby fixecl and determined to be as follows:
<br />Mayor Salary $7,500,00 per year
<br />Di rector of Fi nance Salary $8,000.00 per year

<br />President of Council Satary $1,400.00 per year
<br />Members of Council Salary $,1,200.00 per year

<br />Mr. Caster moved, seconded by Mr. Mangani, that the statutory rule be suspended
<br />and OtdiAance No. 63-6 as amended be read immediately the second and third times
<br />and put an its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows: Caster,
<br />Christman, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, 0'Neill, Van Zandt. Thereupon the ordinance
<br />wa5 resd the second and third times and put upon its passage and the affirmative
<br />vote theredn was as follows: Caster, Christman, Mangani, 0'Neill, Van Zandt.
