1% MINUTES OF THE MEETYNG OF THE COUNCIL THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO May 5, 1965 8:16 P.M. Present: Mayor Ralph Christman; Henry Caster, President of Council Pro Tem; Jack Foltz; Virginia Hodgins; James Leonard; Dewey Limpert; A. L. Mangani; John West, Also preaent; J. Absent : Pres iderat of Counci 1 Franc is J. 0' Ne il l The minutes of the meetbng of April 20th, 1965 were corrected as follows: On Pager7, third paragraph, cfiange Planning Comnission to Cit Planning Committee. Yn the f ifth paragraph on the same page change 52 8 to 5206. The m nutes were theta approved as corrected. Mayor Christman urged everyone to attend the May 13th banquet to open the Sesqui-Centennial celebration, Mayor Christman reported receiving a request from Westview to enter into a mtitual sid agreement with them. He has discussed it with the Fire Chief and is now passing it on to Council for a recommendation. The Mayor named the following as A committee to work with the architect in the designing of the new library, F. J. 0'Neill, Jack Foltz, A. L. Mangani, Ruth Helt, A. E. Spakowski. Mr. Naylor and Mr. Hills of the County Library will be willing to serve in an advisory capacity. Mayor Christman also announced that the AFS exchange student, Elisabeth Antoniadou, w ill be mayor for the day on Saturday, May Sth. Engineer Z,abas repQrtecl that the plans, specifications and estimate of cost a'rQ complete an Great Northern Boulevard from Lorain to Brookpark , and are on file at City Hall ready for Council's further action, Mr. West reported that the Finance Committee has scheduled meetings at 7:30 P.M. on Monday, May lOth, May 17th and May 24th in the Civil Defense Room in order to review pay schedules f or city emgloyees, so that any changes can be completed before preparation of the budget in June. Anyone who would like to be heard is encouraged to attend, and Council is requested to attend to hear what is presented. After these meetings, the Committee will have additional meetings to decide what adjustmenis, if any, should be made, Mr. Foltz announced that the Legislation Committee will meet on May 12th at 8;00 P.M. He requested that Mr. Gundy be notif ied of the meeting and asked to attend. He t,rauld also like the Law Director or his representa- tive to be presen+e Mr. Mangani announced that City Planning Committee will meet on Tuesday, May llth at 7:30 P.M. in the Clerk's Office.
