Safety-Sea-vice Director Limpert requested that Council set up legislation authorizing the Public Works Commissioner to pick up shopping carts, real estate signs9 etc,9 items traceabte to their owners; and *hat a charge of $10.00 be set up for picking up, storing items, and administrative costs. Mrs> Hodgins9 Chairman of Liquor Control Committeey said Wednesday, June 19thy 1:00 p,m., is the date set by Ohio Department of Liquor Control for hearing on Council's objections as to location of proposed D-5 Liquor Per- mit premises as applied for by Mr. Frank C. Nardi and Mr. Philip Engoglia, at 24173 Loc°ain Road. Mr. Cas*er9 Chairman of Municipal Development Committee, said this committee had met on May 14th, to discuss two pieces of proposed legislation: one, to accept corafirmation of Grant from FWPCA, and the other referring to engineer- ing services needed for saraitary sewers. Proposed Ordinances 68-82 and 68-83 are to be voted on at this meeting and committee recommends these be passed. hlr. Pliller9 Chairman of the Legislative Committee, sedd this committee will meet an May 28th, at 9:00 p.m. Mre Eiara, Chairman of the Safety, Health & Welfare Committee, said this com- mi ttee had met on Aps°i1 24th, and recommencled that Lorai n Road, from the easterly bordeo°9 have a common left-turn lane going westy oncluding no stop- ping9 standing, etc. Cocnmittee also recommends that two or three more men be added to the Fire Department, and submits thus request to the Finance Com- nni tteee Mr. West, Chairman of the Finance Committee, said this committee had met on May 14*hv to discuss the financcng of various projects proposed for this year and nexty and agreed that approximately $480,000 should be allocated for sidewalks, ditching, paving and other miscellaneous programs which need to be done. ???? .
