Christman; President of Council Pro Tem John West; <br />Councilmen Henry Caster, Carrol! Eian, Jack Foltz, Virginia Hodgins, Dewey <br />Limpert, Alex Manqanie <br />Also present; Law Director J. Bruce Kitchen; Finance Director W. La Gerlach; <br />Safety-Service Director Del Limperfi; Clerk of Council Margaret West. <br />Absent: President of Council Franc?s J. 0'Neill. <br />Minutes of the meeting of December 20, 1966 were corrected as follows: On <br />Paqe 3, Ordinance No< 66-326 should be 66-344 and No.-66-327-should be 66-345, <br />On Page 4, Ordinance No. 66-328 should be 66-346 and Ordinance 66-329 should <br />be 66-347. The minutes were then accepted as corrected. <br />Mayor Christman submitted the fo!lowing names for appointments to the various <br />boards: Planning Commission term expiring December 31, 1971, Wi?liam Scheeff; <br />Board of Zaning Appeais, to complete unexpired term of William J. Scheeff, end- <br />ing December 31, 1970, William Greene; Board of Zoning Appeals term expiring <br />December 31, 1971, John Roberts; Board ot Building Code Appeals term expiring <br />December 31, 1971, William Giibert. <br />On advice that the School Board had recommerded that H. H. Zimmer be re-appointed <br />to the Recreatinn Commission for a new term expiring December 31, 1971, the <br />Mayor also recommended this appointmenta <br />Mayor Christman also announced that a North Olmsted resident is scheduled for <br />open heart surgery on Thursday, January 12th, and there is need for twenty-five <br />donors of 0-Positive type blood. <br />Safety-Service Director Delbert Limpert requested consideratlon for legislation <br />authorizing an ad for two one-ton dump trucks and one I/2-ton truck. <br />Mr. Caster, Chairman of Municlpal Development Committee, reported on their <br />meetinq held on December 27th. They briefly discussed the North Porter storm <br />sewer problem and are prepared to handle lnstallation of thls t11e as a tem- <br />porary solution to the storm water problem and will request legi'slation. <br />The Committee also discussed Great Northern Boulevard improvements, and legis- <br />lafiion is on the aGendao <br />They discussed the proposed legislation for repair and maintenance of county <br />roads, and will ask the Law Director to review the sample leglslation and prepare <br />legislation for the next Council meeting.
