Minutes of <br />Special Council feting of June 6, 1974, ware approved as read. <br />Service Director Caster reported following: 1) additional control odor eqt <br />r~ctioned before for the Trot Plant rasa to be on schedule. Lats~ inforsr- <br />tion indicates that additioma. egnip~at, parts and misceileueons s-rtterals are <br />schedule and anticipates that it will be coapletsd by the end of Jude; <br />2) received one direct complaint about the odor on Joyce 13th, arcd on checking the <br />Plant everything was operating as it should hays beau; <br />3) $ave detailed report oa weed prr~7~rs - iuatifications, etc. <br />4) drainage project arc Lorain at St. ~tichard's is just about completed; <br />preparing to start on 8dgepark Swale neat; <br />S) nothing to report on leaf seclchintg at this tine; <br />6) would like to recowaand that Orditcarrce pos. 74-87, 74-8$, 74-92, T4-93, 74-93 <br />all be passed on suspension so that th«e items can be disposed of as soon as <br />possible; <br />7) met with Transportation Corwtittee on .T~te 6th to discuss application for Federal <br />Grant; nuaber of buses, etc. Mr. West to elaborate on this further; <br />8) are continually checking the garbs~e tsar and will be sealing as much as <br />possible. Expect two new units in about taro weeks which should alleviate sores of <br />that problem; <br />9)announ~xd that Mr. Arthur Rreut9ter has been appointed Superintendent of the <br />Bus Line effective Dime 3, 1974. Mr. Rreutsser sill assure the duties of the <br />General Manager until Mr. Charles Best retmrns to active status as General Manager. <br />Gave resume of Mr. Rreutser. <br />Mr. West discussed with Mr. Caster the possibility of Cecil receiving every twa <br />weeks or ao, list of notification tao cut weeds; action taken; what parcels had <br />been cut or ware gpin to be cut, so that when Council receives calls they would <br />know what steps are being taken.
