<br />MII4tPiBS OF SPECIAL COtRiCIL MEETING <br />OF TEE CITY OF NORTH OIMSTED <br />FBI~~ 25, 1974 <br />Present: President Francis J. O'Neill, Coue:cilmen Giesler, Goggin, Limpert, <br />Saringer, Sharpe, fleet, t~ilame~oky. <br />Also present: Law Director Michael Gateau, Service Mrector Henr~r Caster, <br />Asst. City Engineer David McDereAOtt, Clerk of Council Mora Bill. <br />Special Meeting of Council was called to order by President O'Neill at 8:00 P.M. <br />President O'Neill stated meeting was specifically called to enact, sewed or <br />reject the Initiative Petition on Stesrns Road in accordance Kith Article X, <br />Section 1 of the Charter. <br />Mr. Lampert moved that Council reject the proposed ordinance listed in the <br />initiative petition which title reads "An ordinance authorizing the County <br />of Cuyahoga and the Ohio Departn~snt of Trasu;portation to improve Stearns <br />Road by widening the existing ga-vea~aat to four lanes between the south <br />corporation line of the City of North Olmsted sud Lorain Road and by con- <br />structing anew four lane roadway constituting an extension of Stearns <br />Aoad betyreen Lorain Read and the earth corporation line of said City". <br />Motion was seconded by Mr. West. Affirmative vote: Giessen, Goggin, L3aspert, <br />Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamsoky. Motion carried. <br />Mr. tJi].anrosky stated he wished to explain his vote. Mr. tdilaa~osky has been <br />opposed to the consent ordinance and bases his vote an that. <br />Mr. West waved for adjournment, seconded by Mr. Giessen.
