Pleating was called to order by Presidsmt O'Neill at 8:00 P.M. Minutes of Council Meeting of May 6, 1975, were approved as read. Mayor Chriat~an reported follcwag: 1) Council has before thei t+aett promised changes in the Comity Dewlapesnt Act Agreeisnt that we have with the Csn~ty. It is an ~t to Ord. llo. 75-3. Considerable time and disca~ion bare bey spent on this and would like to recoareend that the City of North Olrrtsd ere the changes is the a t with the County and participate ixi the 19T4 wing A Community Developisnt Act; 2) Director of Department of Hueian Resources, Mr. Copeland, has had coiwride~rabie discussion on the feaaihility of establishing a Division of AgiAg ~eler the Wit. of Human Resources in order to take advantage of County Elderly F that might be available and this would be a prerequisite. Due to another teeatting Mr. ~-e].and is not here tonight; 3} received coiiunicatian from County today stating that they are going out for bids for disposable solid waste asd msntian they are hopeful that the interest ~ in disposing of the solid waste will be taArard reclaiming the energy frwm it; aid based on the bids they wi11 get on June 19th are asking us to look aver this bid proposal. The Environaiital Control Cosiittee Mill receive correspondence on this iattar; 4) Mayor recognised girt scouts is audience who will receive First Chas Aeeard in Scouting; and rgquested Ag~tnda be cha~tged in order to have Res. No. 75-~1E1 rs~d first under Legislation. Mayor also recognised scouts who wi11 be Aonorary Officials on All Scouts Day . Council recognised girl scouts receiving First C1aas Award; also scouts who will be Honorary Officials. City Bngineer Childs reported followings 1) received inquiry at last Council Misting as to where one could find the original ~g Map. Following day Mr. tdy's secretary located a full scale rsprodu~cible negative of the original isp which dates back to 1957.
