Howard Childs, Clerk of Council <br />Nora Hill. <br />Meeting was called to order by Preaideeet O'Neill at 8:(~ P.M. <br />Mr. Wilaeosky amended seinute~s of April 1, 1975, on Page 4, first paragraph, to <br />insert the ward "discussed" before the aord "pra3ected" in first line. Aeeyoeue wishing to take advantage of this should be directed <br />to City Hall. <br />Mrs. Beringer, Chairman Enviroe>meaetal C~antrol Committee and Long Range Plaeeeeing <br />Committee, reported Bnvirrtal Control Coemaittee met ~ April 3, 1975, to <br />review the ordinamce on "display of dine prices". Reason Coe,ttee reviewed <br />this was because of a letter sent to the Law Director from Staadard Oil <br />They sere e~ot c~onfarmdng and felt that their sign, which fit into a standard "A" <br />board frees was far supericer to our xeequireemeeets. However, Caasalttee decided <br />these would be classified as temporary signs. Committees meet agar oee April 7, <br />2975, with Law Director axed Building Caesaioner. Since the placing of B~ sign <br />is incidental it Was decideui to aaeeeut the ordinance to state anp posting in a <br />conspicuous place, vieewable froee the street, provided that it is a permea~et <br />sign and not a teemporary one.
