Mrs. Beringer, Chairman Enviroe>meaetal C~antrol Committee and Long Range Plaeeeeing Committee, reported Bnvirrtal Control Coemaittee met ~ April 3, 1975, to review the ordinamce on "display of dine prices". Reason Coe,ttee reviewed this was because of a letter sent to the Law Director from Staadard Oil They sere e~ot c~onfarmdng and felt that their sign, which fit into a standard "A" board frees was far supericer to our xeequireemeeets. However, Caasalttee decided these would be classified as temporary signs. Committees meet agar oee April 7, 2975, with Law Director axed Building Caesaioner. Since the placing of B~ sign is incidental it Was decideui to aaeeeut the ordinance to state anp posting in a conspicuous place, vieewable froee the street, provided that it is a permea~et sign and not a teemporary one.
