. <br />R <br />L' <br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF TSE <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />JANUARY 25, 1978 <br /> <br />Present: President Dewey Limpert, Councilmen Beaty, Boehmer, Logan, Petrigac, <br />Sharpe, Wilamosky. <br />Also present: Mayor Robert Swietynoaski, Law Director Michael Gareau, Service <br />Director Joseph Corrigan, City Engineer Ronald Zurawski, Cldrk of Council <br />Nora Hill. <br />Absent: Councilman Beringer <br />Special Meeting of Council was called to order by President Limpert at 8:15 P.M. <br />President Limpert stated the gurpose of this SY.cial Meeting is to consider the <br />improvement plans of A6P Store at West 231 Street. <br />Mrs. Sharpe stated to the people in audience from West 231 St. that she does <br />appreciate their feelings and concern but the AAP development does net violets. <br />any ordinances of the City - the plan meets the zoning and building codes. <br />Mrs. Sharpe moved Council approve the final improvement plans of the A&P Stare <br />to be built at West 231 Street & Lorain Rd. Motion seconded by Mr. Beaty. <br />President Limpert read communication from Councilman Beringer stating she regrets <br />she is unable to attend the meeting due to a prior commitment, but would like to <br />state that if the ingress and egress remains on West 231 St. and the level of the <br />grade remains the same Mrs. Beringer would vote against this proposal: she cannot <br />support an ingress and egress on West 231 Street. <br />Mr. Logan asked Law Director Gareau if there is any legal way to prohibit the owner <br />of the property from having an ingress and egress on West 231 St. Law Director <br />Gareau stated they have a right of access of ingress and egress to a dedicated <br />public right. of way. <br />Mr. Wilamosky asked City Engineer Zurawski whether or not in his professional <br />opinion the grade is adequate and suitable and. will not cause mediate problems <br />to the abutting property owners. City Engineer Zurawski stated according to <br />their design standards it is adequate as far as the drainage - everything has <br />been taken care of to properly retain any additional run-off that would be created <br />by the black top and the structure will be contained in a retention basin so the <br />run-off would be no greater than ~s currently there in its ux-developed state. <br />City Engineer Zurawski and Mr. Wilamosky discussed the elevation. <br />Roll Call on Motion: Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boeh~r, Logan, Petrigac, Sharpe, <br />Wilamosky. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Boehmer moved to excuse absence of Mrs. Beringer, seconded by Mr. Beaty. <br />Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boehmer, Logan, Petrigac, Sharpe, Wilamosky.
