Limpert, Councilmen Beaty, Boehmer, I.ogan, <br />Petrigac, Saringer, ratismasxy. <br />Al,so present: Mayor Robext Swi.etynictwski. Law Mrector Michael Gareau, Fiasace <br />Director Ro'bcrt Brockman, SafetY Director Eugeae Petre, Service <br />Director Jaseph Corrigan, Clerk of Council Florence Gampbell. <br />Absent: Councilman Sharpe. <br />Meeting was called to order by Presfdent Limpert at 8:00 P.M. <br />President Limpert invited menbers of the audience to join Members of Council in re- <br />citing the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Minutes of Council Meeting of March 20, 1979, were approved. <br />Mayor Swietpniavski reporCed: 1) Reminded Memi?ers of Council and elected officials <br />to send in Fimmcial Disclasure Statements vrhich are due by April 16th. <br />2) Council wae advised bq letter that Chrf.st the King Chuxch requested a meetiag <br />with Council to present plans snd diecuss cansCructian of a colle$e. Pleuse ad- <br />vise what date would be convenient. <br />Service Director Corrigan regorted: 1) In the public uedia receutly, there has been <br />criticism of the Service Director based an totally inaccurate iaformativn - tlat he <br />has somehaw been contemptuous of Couaeil antl the wishes of Council a$ the lmmgislatfve <br />body in this commmity. Service Director has also served on a City Couucil in the <br />State of Ohio aad hgs zothing but reapect for the tremndous obligatians tfiaC are <br />taken on - the reeponsibility of Council to act intelli.gently oa commity pzoblms - <br />to seek out factuai informatiaa on what the problems are - snd to take a co*rse of <br />action and set policy far tte Admiaistrative Braach of governmeat.
