AN ORDINANCE <br />FOR OFFICERS <br />POLICE DEPAR' <br />WHEREAS:, this Council desires <br />for officers and .regular members of-the <br />of North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />TO DETERMINE VACATION PERIODS <br />ATJD REGULAR MII~ERS OF THE <br />PMENT. <br />to set up the vacation periods <br />Police Department of the Cityr <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAII~D BY ~'HE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLM$TED, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That from and after the effective date of this <br />ordinance the officers and regular members of the Police Department of <br />the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, shall be given the following paid <br />vacations: <br />Those with over one year's continuous service shall <br />receive two weeks paid vacation for each year of <br />service. <br />Those with fifteen years continuous service, or its <br />equivalent, shall receive three weeks paid vacation <br />each year. <br />The time of said vacations shall be determined by the <br />Chief of the Police Department. <br />Section 2. That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 31.6, passed <br />April 1, 19 , and-any and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances <br />in conflict or inconsistent herewith, are hereby repealed. <br />Section This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emer- <br />gency measure, t e~emergency being that it is necessary for the immediate. <br />preservation of public health, peace, safety and welfare, and for the <br />daily operation of a municipal department of the City, and shall be in <br />full force and effect immediately upon its passage. <br />PASSED: July 16, 1957• <br />ATTEST: <br />.
