AN ORDINAIVCL+' AMENDING SECTIQN 1 OF ORUINAtVCE N0. 71-168 LEVYING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR THE IAg'ROVE- MENT OF COI,UMBIA ROAD AND CERTAIN OTHER STREETS AND PUBLIC EASEMELTS (CONTRACT N0. 15) BY CONSTRUCTIPIG SANITARY SEWERS TO D'lJ.KE CORRECTIONS IN THE ASSESS- MENT ROLL, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENG"Y. WHEREA.S, this Council on December 7., 1971 passed Ordinance No. 71-158 levy- ing special assessments for the improvement of Columbia Road and certain other streets and easements by constructing sanitary sewers; and WHEREA.S, it has subsequently been determined that certain clerical errors were made i.n the list of the estimated assessments adopted and confirmed by said ordinance due to the inadvertent omission of certain benefited properties fram the assessment 1'ist, errors in computing property di.mensions, and intervening changes in the dimensions oi' certain properties attributable to the sale of por- tions of such properties in the period since the estima,ted assessment list was prepared., which changes were not reflected in the list of final assessments; a.nd Wf3EREAS, this Council deems it necessary to have the list of final assess- ments revised before certification to the County Auditor to reflect the correc- tion of these clerical errors and amissions; NOW, THEREFORE, BE ZT ORDAINED by the Council af the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, Ohio: Section l. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 71-158, passed becember 7, 1971, levying special assessments for the improvement of Columbia Road and certain other streets and easements by constructing sanitary sewers (Contract No. 15) be and the same is hereby ariended to read as follows; "Section l. That the revised assessments to pay the property owners' portion of the cost and expense of improving the following streets and public easements within the City of North 0lmsted by con- structing sanitary sewers, sewer curb connections and necessary ap- purtenances, including necessary street resurfacing and restoration of drainage facilities; . a. Columbia Road from Gessner Road southerly approximately 3014 feet to a point 180 feet north of Lorain Road; b. In easements from a point in Columbia Road 525 feet north of Lorain Road, southwesterly parallel to and 525 feet north of Zorain Road a distance of 646 feet; c. Gessner Road from Columbia Road easterly 553 feet; c d. Gessner Roa,d from Walter Road westerly 1359 feet; e. Evelyn Drive from Gessner Road southerly and westerly a distance of 1120 feet; f. Eleanor Drive from Gessnex Roa,d southerly 578 feet; g. Columbia Road from Gessner Road northerly 320 feet;
