CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />Ordinance No. 70- <br />By; ??'? ?.??r:`,.?..:?z:, <br />AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING TO PROCEED WITH EXPANSION OF <br />PRESENT SECONDARY SEWAGE TREATr1ENT PLANT FROM 3 MGD <br />TO 9 MGD ,AND DECLARING AN ENIERGENCY. <br />Be It Ordained by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, <br />Cuyahoga County, Ohio. <br />Section l. That it is hereby determined to proceed with <br />the improvement of the present secondary treatment plant expansion <br />from 3 MGD to 9 AZGD by the addition of two new primary tanks, a new <br />blower area, two final tanks, an addition to the chlorine contact <br />tank and a new grit removal unit, phosphorous removal and final <br />micro screens. <br />Section 2. That said improvement shall be in accordance <br />with the plans, specifications and estimates known as Contract 2B, <br />2C and 2D, heretofore approved and now on file in the Engineering <br />Department office. <br />Section 3. That the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted <br />is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for bids and to execute <br />a contract for said improvement with the lowest and best bidder, in <br />accordance with the terms of the agreement heretofore entered into <br />between the City and the Ohio Water Development Authority. <br />Sectiori 4. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />public peace, health and safety of said City and for the further <br />reason that the immediate construction of said improvement is neces- <br />sary to protect the health of the inhabitants of the City.
