<br />FQR ENGINEERING SERVICES IN CONNF.CTION ?n1ITH THE
<br />SA.NITARY SEWERAr,E SYSTEM, APPROPP,IATING THE NFCES-
<br />SARX FUNDS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY,
<br />[4HFREAS, it is the desire of the Council of the Citv of.
<br />North f?lmsted, Ohio to proceed as soon as possible with the comple-
<br />tion of the sani,tary sewer system for the City, and
<br />TnrHEREAS, it is necessary to up-date the general plan for
<br />7one 2 of the sanitary sewer system, and
<br />TaHEREAS, it is necessary to prenare a general plan .for
<br />turther additions to the sewape treatment plant, and
<br />TATHEREAS, it is necessary to employ reQistered nrofessional
<br />engineers for the purpose of prepaxing the peneral Dlans, cost
<br />estimates and furnishinp; such other engineer_ing services as are
<br />necessarv. '

<br />City of_ North Olm.sted, Ohio.
<br />Section l. That the Mayor be ancl he is herebv authorized
<br />and d.irected to enter into an agreement with Floyd G. Browne and
<br />• Associates, Ltd., Consultin¢ Engineers, Marion, Ohio, for the
<br />necessary enaineerinn, services to up-date the general nlans, cost
<br />estimates for the sanitary sewer system in 7one 2 of the City, and
<br />to prepare ageneral p].an on future additions that will be needed
<br />to the sewaQe treatment plant to meet the continued QroT.ath of the
<br />City of North 0]msted, and preDare a nrojection of revenues and
<br />expenses together with a f.inancial guide f.or financing saici
<br />imnrovements.
<br />Section 2. That the f.unds in amount not to exceed Forty-
<br />two Hundred Dollars ($4200), be and are hereby appropxiated from
<br />the Sewer Rental Account for the'purpose of ineeti,ng this obligation.
<br />Section 3. That this nrdinance is an emerg-ency meaaure
<br />for the purnose of preserving the healtli, welfare of the citizens
<br />of the City of_ North Olmsted and further that immediate passaQe
<br />is necessary to enable th?,..City to proceed immediately with the
<br />engineering studies that are?ecessary to meet requirements of the
<br />State and I'ederal Agencies as they riay affect construction grants
<br />as are available from tim,e to tim,e, i-JHEREFORE, this ordinance shall
<br />take effect immediately upon its passage, otherwise at the earliest
<br />period allowed by law.
