CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 66-aof <br />f f <br />f <br />gY <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO <br />REFUIVD INCORRECTLY ASSESSED SEWER CHARGES TO HOME- <br />OWNERS IN THE AREA OF 5641 COLUMBIA ROAD to 5988 <br />COLUM3IA ROAD, INCLUSIVE, ALL WITHIN THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED,AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />? <br />WtiEREAS, the homeowners in the area of 5651 Columbia Road to <br />5988 Columbia Road, inclusive were to be assessed sewer rental charges effective <br />August 1, 19 6 6; and <br />W'r3EREAS, said sewer rental charges are certified to the City of <br />Cleveland and are charged according to the water consumption and collected with <br />the water bill; and <br />'IVHEREAS, said.liomeowners in the aforementioned area were charged <br />I sewer rental charges for May; June and July of 1966, said charges being <br />incorrectly assessed. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section l: That the Finance Director, upon presentation of the water <br />bill of the homeowners from the City of Cleveland is hereby directed and authorized <br />to ascertain the amount of the sewer rental charge that the homeowner was billed <br />for and is further authorized to issue adho-ok:made 7oirtly payable to the homeowner <br />and to the City of Cleveland for the amount of the sewer charge so determined for <br />the months of May, June and July of 1966, said check to be payable out of the <br />Sewer Revenue Fund and is issued to adjust the incorrect billing for the homes <br />of 5651 Columbia Road to 5988 Columbia Road, inclusive. <br />Section 2: That this Resolution is hereby determined to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety, peace and <br />, welfare of the City by virtue of the fact that the water bills are due and payable <br />immediately by homeowners as aforesaid to the City of Cleveland. WHEREFORE, <br />this Resolution shall take effect and be in force 'immediately upon its passage, <br />otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />? . <br />Margaret .
