Lqjt., a ac-ki <br />ORDINANCE N0. 65-144 <br />By: Mr. Mangani <br />AN ORDINANCE AUI'HORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC SERYICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS AND <br />TH E MAY90R TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH <br />THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER FOR TH E CON- <br />STRUCTION OF A SANITARY SEWAGE LIFT STATIOiV, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />? <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted <br />Cuyahoga County, Ohio: <br />Section 1. That the Director of Public Service is hereby <br />authorized and directed to advertise for bids for the construction <br />of a sanitary sewage lift station to be located at a point near the <br />northerly corporation line and immediately east of Dover Road. <br />Such sanitary sewage lift station shall be constructed in accordance <br />with the plans and specifications now on file with the Director of <br />Public Service and hereby approved by Council. <br />Section 2. That subject to the prior approval of the <br />Board of Control and the furnishing of the necessary financing <br />by Council, the Mayor is hereby suthorized to enter into a contract <br />with the lowest and best bidder for the construction of such <br />sanitary sewage lift station, <br />Section 3. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />public peace, health and safety of said City, and for the further <br />reason that the immediate construction of such lift station is neces- <br />sary to protect the health of the inhabitants of this City; wherefore <br />this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and immediately <br />after its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />Passed: June 15, 1965 <br />Ar,. t i _ <br />erk Council <br />President Council, Pro Tem <br />, <br />Approved: June 15, 1965 <br />r <br />? <br />i <br />?-? <br />v Mayor <br />????
