CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 64 - ?Q (O <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING AN EQUALIZATION BOARD <br />CONSISTING OF THREE FREEHOLDERS OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED TO HEAR OBJECTIONS TO THE <br />ESTIMATED ASSESSMENTS HERETOFORE REPORTED <br />TO COUNCIL AND TO ECZUALIZE SAME, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 64- 119 Council appointed <br />an ,asessment Board consisting of three free holders of the City of North <br />Olmated for the purpoae of aseessing the cost of irpproving the streets by <br />the construction of eanitary sewera thereon, and <br />WHEREAS, there have been objections filed to the assesa- <br />ments arrived at by the Aseessment Board, and <br />? WHEREAS, Council wishes aaid assesonente to be equalised <br />among the various property holdere toiw benefited by the aforesaid improve- <br />ment. <br />N01K, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of* ? <br />the City of North Olmsted, Ohio two-thirds of the members of Council <br />concurring: <br />Section 1: That Joseph Regnatz, Jack Phillips snd Wilber <br />Grentzer, three disintereeted freeholders of eaid City of North Olmsted <br />be and they are hereby appointed to act as an Equalization Board to hear <br />all objections to the estimated assessments heretofore reported to Council <br />of the cost of improving certain lands and atreets in the City of North <br />Olmsted by the construction of sanitary sewera, and to tqualize the ssme <br />as to them aeems proper, according to law. Said Board shall meet for <br />the above purpose at City Hall on the _pTM day of QeToGE_!!,. , 1964, <br />at 8 p. m., and upon the ccmpletion of said Equalization Board shall report <br />such equalized as se s sment to Council. <br />Section 2: That the Council hereby authorizes the paymeat <br />by the Director of Finance out of the Sewer Agseasment Fund to said <br />Joseph Regnatz, Jack Phillipa and Wilber Grentzer, the raembbes of the <br />Equalization Boarci, comgenaati.on at the rate of $2. 75 per hour. <br />Section 3: That this Ordinance is hereby determined to <br />be an einergencg measure neceieary for the preservation of the public <br />health, safety and welfare by virtue of the urgent necessity of continuinQ <br />with the estimated assessments and equalizing same of the cost of instslling <br />said sanitary sewers at t???e earliest poesible date; WHEREFORE, this <br />resolution thall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage, <br />otherewise, at the earliest ,period allowed by law.
