ERGENCyE ?OUNT OF <br />$600, 000 . 00, AN D DECLAR1NG <br />yyHEREAS, Council by Resolution Number 64-121 enacted <br />june 16, 1964, authorized the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to <br />apply to the DePartment of Health, Education and Welfare under Public Law , <br />660 for a federal qrant to assist the city in their sewer pro9Y'am, and <br />yVHEREAS, the Surgeon General of the Public Health, Service <br />gave favorable consideration to the aforeaaid application, the public benefits <br />to be derived by the construction of the sQW ?he adequacY of t eiprovisions ost <br />to the public interest and public necessity, <br />made and proPosed for assuring efficient operation of the project, and <br />WHgREAS, The Surgeon General is satisfied that the sewer proiect <br />is in conformity with State of Ohio Water Pollution Control, that said sewer <br />project meets the crlteria necessary for Federal aid, and that said seweiam <br />is a comprehensive pro9ram, has qranted to the City of North Olmsted, Oh <br />Federal grant in the amount of $600, 000 e Olon19 4diand that the sewer Project <br />be placed under construction by Novemb, ,. <br />WHEREAS, Council ha aid as eaforesaid North <br />sewer <br />Olmsted, Ohio should accept the Federal <br />project Number 3 can be started. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of North Olmsted, Ohio: <br />Section 1: That the Mayor theoUnit d S ates of America,eDeP?rtment <br />hereby authorized to accept the offeof <br />of Health, Education and Welfare, Public Health Service, in the amount of <br />$600, 000. 00 accordinq to the terms and conditionsf thesacceptaniceoofesaid d to <br />do evetything necessary and inaidental thereto, fo <br />Federal offer by the City of North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Section 2: That this Resolution is hereby determined to be <br />an emergency measure; that this Resolution was Passed by suspension of the <br />rules of Council and the requirements of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted, <br />Ohio, by a three -fourths (3/4ths) vote of the members of Council; that after voted voting to suspend the rules and requa? he aforesaid, <br />ists hby irtuelof the <br />favorably to pass this Resolution; th <br />necessity of the offer being open to acceptance for a limited period of time
