That the assessment saf the coat sad expense of impreaviag Stearns Road fram the end of the existing main to the soetherly City line, by constructing therein a water Hain, amsfasts~ in the aggregate to X23,?0©,t?Q, as reported to this Ceauncil by the City Eagiseer, notice of the filing of which assessment has been given, as required by law, be sad the ease is hereby adopted and confirmed and that there 1~e ,and is hereby levied open all the lots and land beatu-diug and abutting upon Stearns 8oad from the end of the existing main (northerly line of Bernard Stearns lands to the southerly City line, by constructing therein a water gain, the several amounts reported as aforesaid, which assessments, tog®ther frith the descriptions of said lots and lands, are noK eaa file in the tai"fice3 eaf the Clerk of this Ceauncil, and which sssessments are at the rate of ~5.Q19~ per front foot and are sot in excess of the special benefits tea said property.
