ORDINANCE N0. J/ <br />BY MR . ~~!D'~J` z~-~ =~~ AN ORI3IN~,NCE EMFI~OYING <br />JOHN R. CLOYD CITY <br />ENGINEER .AND FIXING HIS <br />COMPENSATION. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTID, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That John R. Cloyd be, and he is hereby employed sit <br />~ng~of the.City of North Olmsted For a period b ginning immediately <br />upo ~aasage of this ordinance and ®nding on the 3~ day of remb~er <br />19~, or until hie ~~c~eaaor is qualified and appo~.nted, to do all work <br />which customarily devolves itself upon the Engineer. <br />Section ?. The employment and compensation of said engineer sha11 be <br />a~ fm~.Awa: <br />(a) For services rendered as Engineer and the furnishing <br />of the necessary engineering supplies for which contracts <br />are let, the total cost of which eaceeda X5,000, a sum <br />equal to 7g~ of the total coat payable 3;6 upon completion <br />of plans, profiles and estimates and the remaining 4~ <br />as Znonthly estimates are rendered and in proportion <br />thereto. <br />(b) For other City engineering work of a general nature <br />where drafting, designing, estimating, or field work <br />is necessary, the following rates shall apply and be <br />payable monthly, which includes drafting equipment; <br />field survey equipment and instruments; also trans-» <br />portation: <br />Helper, Rodman or Chairman - X3.40 per h®ur <br />Tnatrunent man - 4.00 per hour <br />Party Chief or Office Engineer - 5.Q0 per hour <br />Registered Frofesaional Engineer <br />or Frincipal on Special Work, <br />Conference, Court 'Work, etc. - 6.00 per hour <br />(c) For ~uperviaion of general engineering matters; <br />attendance at Court House, Cleveland City Hall, <br />Council and necessary Flanning Commission meetings; <br />advice to officialffi; general engineering office <br />services to the public and public utility corporations, <br />telephoning and general office Correspondence; the sum <br />of $___~~~~~_ for the month of January and each <br />month t' ems; payable monthly. <br />Section 3.
