CITY ~F NJRTH 3L?~1STEB <br /> <br />OR~~IiVANCE No. 63- ~/~ <br />AN ORDINANCE APPOINTIaVG A NEG~T h~'.Ei~1~3ER OF A SPECIAL ?3O;A:RL~ <br />TO REPORT ESTIMATED ASSES SA"~~ENTC OF CERTAIN STREETS AND <br />LANDS TO PAY T?~E COST OF CONSTRUCTING SANI°tARY S:F'~jERS <br />THEREIN T) FILL THE VACANCY CREATE?~ ~Y T~-tE RESIGNATI:-)N <br />OF SAID` ESTIMATING '30,9.R[~ `~1E~ZBER, RO~3ERT ?3i1R+3HAR?~T, ANI} <br />DECLARING AN E~tERGEN('Y. <br />InrHE~tEAS, by Ordinance No. 62-95, enacted ,June <br />5, 1962, this Council appointed three disinterested freeholders <br />to act as a special board to estimate assessments to be charged <br />on certain lots and lands for the construction of sanitary sewers; <br />and <br />C~t~-iEttEA5, one of the members so aptiointed, to-wit <br />Robert ~iurahardt, has resigned from said board and it has become <br />necessary to appoint a new member to reX>lace him. <br />Nt~W, Tf-IE~EF~~>RE,3E IT C12~~AINEt't ~,y the Council <br />of tl~e City of North Olmsted, State of ti)hio: <br />Section 1: That the Council hereby appoints George <br />Plum, a disinterested. freeholder of the City of North Olmsted <br />as a new member of the special board created in Ordinance No. 62- <br />95 to estimate the assessments to be charged against certain lots <br />and lands as set forth. in the following ordinances: No. 61-28, <br />enacted February 21, 1961, as amended by Ordinance No. 61-62, en- <br />acted April 4, 1961; No. 61-70, enacted April 1`?`, 1961; No. 61-29, <br />enacted February 21, 1961, as amended ~~y Jrc~inance No. 61-63, en- <br />acted April 4, 1961; Ordinance No. 61-152, enacted August 1.5, 1961; <br />Ordinance No. 61-153, enacted August 15, 1961, for the improvement <br />of streets therein named by the construction of a sanit~.ry sewer; <br />said assessments to be estimated in proportion as nearly as may be <br />to the benefits that may resLtlt to the improvement of the Lots and <br />lands to be so asGessec'~ and to retort said. estimated assessments to <br />this Council. <br />Section 2: That Council hereby authorizes the payment <br />by the Director of Finance out of the Sewer Assessment Fund to said <br />George Plum compensation at the rate of $2.75 per hour in the same <br />manner as the authorization of compensation to the other members <br />of said board. <br />Section 3: That this Ordinance is hereby determined to <br />be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public <br />health, safety and welfare by virtue of the urgent necessity of <br />continuing with the estimated assessments of the cost of installing <br />sanitary sewers at the earliest possible date,; WHEREFO1tE, this <br />Ordinance shall take effect and he in force immediatelyt~on its <br />oassa~e. otherwise, at the earliest period llowed by law. <br />~~.~SSED: ____~z.~ ~~ /96~ <br />c. <br />ATTE : , <br />.. ___., , <br />cs~-C~ <br />Louise Hall, Clerk o Council <br />AFB?
