CI~'S' OF NORTH OLMSTE?~ <br />RESOLUTION No, 63 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTIOi~ CJi~i~iEivDING ANr) THAIV'KI:V~ THE REVEREND I-tENRY <br />WYNWN AN E) THE CONGREGATION OF THE NORTH OLMSTED CONGRE- <br />GATIONAL CHURCH FvR THEIR EXE~~PLARY ASSISTANCE TO <br />TRAVELERS STRAN~3EIj JN ROUTE 10 IN NORTH JL~tSTEn IIURING <br />Tt~E RECENT E'~LERGENCY 1~L'F TO UNUSUAL ROAD CONDITIONS. <br />ir~dHEREAS, beginning on Friday, ?~ecember 7, <br />1962, and continuing for several days thereafter, Route 10 in <br />North Olmsted was inundated by a record snow fall wizich caused <br />traffic leading to and from. the. Turnpike Interchange to come to <br />a standstill which stranded many motorists an~~ their families <br />and exposed them to the rigors of the extremely cold weather; <br />and <br />WH.EREA5, the Reverend Henry Wyman of North <br />Olmsted Congregational Church and many of the members of his <br />congregation, realizing the Might of such travelers and the <br />potential danger of their situation, utilized the facilities <br />of the North Olmsted Congregational Chi.zrch anc~ the time, energy <br />and compassion of its ~r!em?~ers to alleviate in Great measure the <br />suffering of those stranded travelers by furnishin¢ them with <br />shelter and food; and <br />WHFRyAS, the city officials of the city of <br />North Olmsted feel that such acts of.
