~~-L <br />~~ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />f.~ <br />ORDINANCE NO. 64 = _.,,~` <br />~/'~ <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 6~' ORDTNANCE <br />NO. 61-103, ENACTED MAY 16, 1961, EPdTTTLED "AN <br />ORDINANCE DETERMINING SALARIES, 'AGES Al"~D <br />BONDS OF APPOINTED OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTEI)", AS AME "~DED BY <br />ORDINANCE NO. 62-I28, E1~ffAC'fED JULY I0, 1962, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, state of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That Section 3 of Ordinance 61-103, enacted May <br />16, 1961, as amended by Ordinance 62-128 enacted July I0, 1962, reading <br />as follows: <br />"That beginning July 15, 1962, the salaries of appointed officials <br />and employees are hereby fixed and determined to be as follows: <br />Mayor's Secretary <br />Clerical & Secretarial <br />Building Commissioner <br />Building Inspector <br />Safety Director <br />Custodian of Public Buildings <br />Service Director <br />$4, 642. 34 Annually <br />250.00 to 375.00 per moat <br />7, 000.00 Annually <br />5, 500.00 Annually <br />2, I00. 00 Annually <br />5, 000.00 Annually <br />7, 500.00 Annually" <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"That beginning January Z1, 1964,. the salaries of appointed <br />officials and employees axe hereby fined and determined to <br />be as follows: <br />Mayor's Secretary <br />Clerical & Secretarial <br />Building Commissioner <br />Building Inspector <br />Safety and Service Director <br />Custodian of Public Buildings <br />$4, 642. 34 Annually <br />250.00 to 375.00 per moz <br />?, 000.00 Annually <br />5, 500.00 Annually <br />8, 500.00 Annually <br />5, 000.00 Annually" <br />Section 2: That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 61-103, enacted <br />May 16, 1961, and amended as of July 15, 1963, concurrently with the <br />effective date of the changes herein made. <br />Section 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, <br />health, safety and welfare of the City by virtue of the fact of the immediate <br />necessity of adjusting compensation for City employees so as to make such <br />compensation commensurate with the requirements of the various jobs: <br />WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allo ed by law. <br />PASSED: January 21, 1964 1~~~ e.~._~-~~- ~ ~ • ~~ ~ A--~--~~-~~ <br />l~;t~" Francis J.
