CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 64 - <br />c <br />1 ~ <br />AN ORDINANCE COMBINING THE OFFICE OF DIRECTOR <br />OF PUBLIC SERVICE AND THE OFFICE OF DIRECTOR <br />OF PUBLIC SAFETY INTO ONE OFFICE WHICH SHALL <br />BE KNOWN AS THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE AND <br />PUBLIC SAFETY, AND DECLARiN6 AN EME ~dY. <br />' WHEREAS, for the public health, safety and welfare, <br />~'~"°` the Council of the City of North Olmsted has determined that the duties of <br />the office of the Director of Public Safety and the office of the Director of <br />Public Service can be more effectively and more economically executed <br />by combining the said offices into one office to be known as the office of <br />the Director of Pub lic Service and Public Saf ety. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE iT ORDAINED by the <br />Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of F?hio; <br />Section 1: That the Council hereby combines the offices of <br />the Director of Public Service and the office of the Director of Public <br />Safety into one office to be known as the office of the Director of Public <br />Service and Public Safety. <br />Section 2: That this Ordinance is hereby determined to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare by virtue of the fact that the merger of the aforesaid <br />two offices will result in a more efficient and economical performance <br />of the duties imposed upon said offices. <br />PASSED : ;:~:~ '~ ..,1 ~;~~;~ ,~,r` <br />~, __. <br />_~. <br />Francis J.
