CITY OF NORTH OLM5TED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 64 - I5 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE GEOGRAPHICAL <br />BOUNDARIES OF THE FIRE DISTRICTS SET FORTH <br />IN THE BUILDING CODE OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, CHAPTER 59, AS THE RETAIL BUSINESS <br />DISTRICT, LIMITED INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, AND <br />MIXED USE llIsTRICT AS ESTABLISHED AND <br />DESIGNATED BY THE ZONING MAP C)F THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED DATED OCTOBER. 30, 1963, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Building Code of the City of North <br />Olmsted, Chapter 59, establishes fire districts; and <br />WHEREAS, an emergency h8s arisen for the <br />immediate preservation of the public property and safety, requiring the <br />enactment, without delay, of an Ordinance to regulate the erection of <br />office and business structures, and a prohibition within such limits as <br />Council may deem proper, of the erection of buildings which increase <br />the fire hazard and risk; and <br />WHEREAS, Council deems it necessary, for the <br />health and welfare of the citizens of North Olmsted, to establish the <br />geographical boundaries of the fire districts established by Chapter 59 <br />of the Building Code of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />NOW, THEREFORE,, BE IT ORDAINED by the <br />Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1; That the geographical boundaries of the fire <br />districts are those boundaries which are contained within the retail <br />business district, the limited industrial district and the mixed use <br />district, as established and designated by the Zoning Map of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio, dated October 30, 1963. <br />Section 2: That this Ordinance is hereby determined to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation Qf public welfare, <br />peace, health and safety by virtue of the existence of an emergency for <br />the immediate preservation of public property and safety and to regulate <br />the type of construction within certain specified areas; WHER.EFOR.E, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Mayor, otherwise it shall take effect and be in force from and <br />after the earliest period allowed by Iaw. <br />' ~ ~ ~r~_ ~' ~ ~..~~ ~ ,~,G ~._ ~.. <br />PASSED: ~~~~ ~t~ ~ . ~~ /~.r~~ :..-~,~ r• :..:, <br />,/ ~- Francis J.
