CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUT [ON N0. 64 - ~~ <br />j ~, ,/,,~ <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING ELEANOR RUPLE, DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF <br />FINANCE TO ACT WHEN THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE IS ABSENT FROM <br />THE CITY, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Council has determined it necessary to create a position <br />of Acting Director of Finance in the event of the absence of the Director of <br />Finance from the City, when such absences from the City are in excess of <br />forty-eight (48) hours, and as in the opinion of Council, Eleanor Ruple <br />has heretofore been appointed Acting Deputy Director of Finance and is <br />familiar with the operations of said office, it is deemed desirable at this <br />time to so appoint said Eleanor Ruple to such position. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLV ED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That commencing January 7, 1964 and through December 31, <br />1g65, unless otherwise provided for, this Council does hereby create the <br />position of Acting Director of Finance who shall perform the duties of the <br />Director of Finance when the Director of Finance is absent from the City for <br />periods of time in excess of forty-eight (48) hours and approves the designation <br />of Eleanor Ruple as said Deputy Director of Finance. <br />Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public <br />peace, health, safety and general welfare of the City of North Olmsted, <br />that a Deputy Director of Finance be appointed to act in his absence and <br />to preform the duties of the office during the absence of the duly elected <br />Director of Finance. <br />Section 3.
