CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 65 -- <br />BY ill <br />A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED WILL PAY SUMS IN ADDITION TO THOSE REQtl1RED <br />BY RESOLUTION NO. 64-151 AND ALL ORDINANCES AND <br />RESOLUTIONS, ENACTED TN CONFORMANCE TO RESOLUTION <br />NO. 64-151, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, in Resolution No. 64-151 it was determined <br />necessary to construct sidewalks on certain streets within the City of North <br />Olmsted, and <br />WHEREAS, the plans and specifications which were on file <br />at the office of the Clerk of Council could not and did not foresee the <br />difficulties in construction of the aforesaid sidewalks, and <br />WHEREAS, Council has now determined that the City of <br />North Olmsted shall not assess the abutting property owners in excess of the <br />rate contemplated at the time of the passage of Resolution No. 64-151 . <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of <br />the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section l: That the Council of the City of North Olmsted <br />has decided to assume all costs for the construction of sidewalks, as set <br />forth in Resolution No. 64-151 , which are over and above those costs which <br />are being assessed to the abating property owners. <br />Section 2: That the Finance Director is hereby authorized <br />and directed to pay out of funds in his r.ontrol the City of North Olmsted's <br />portion of the sidewalks set forth in Resolution Nc. 64-151 i.n the amount <br />of Eighteen Thousand Dollars ($1 8, 000.00} . <br />Section 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />public peace, health and safety by virtue of the need to assess the property <br />owners as aforesaid and to certify same to the County Auditor; WHEREFORE, <br />this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and immediatd.y after its <br />passage and approval by the M,~ynr, otherwise , at the earliest period allowed <br />by law. <br />PASSED: ~3~~ <br />Francis j.
