CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 65 -~ <br />BY 1~) i~ <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE AND PUBLIC SAFETY TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR <br />TWO POLICE CARS, NOT EXCEEDING $4,00.00 FOR BOTH, <br />. AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Council has been advised by the Director of <br />Public Service and Public Safety that it is necessary that two police cars <br />be purchased, not exceeding $4,800.00 for both, for use in the City <br />of North Olmsted, and <br />WHEREAS, Council in order to facilitate the safety. and <br />security of the City of North Olmsted desires to purchase two police cars <br />for city use. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of <br />the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That the Director of Public Service and Public <br />Safety be and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids far two police <br />cars to be used in the City of No ations s rese tly ancfileiin hiss o00~Qe0 for <br />both, as per the detailed specific P <br />Section 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, <br />® health, safety .and welfare of the City by virtue of the is-mediate necessity <br />of acquiring two ppliee cars so that tlw streets of the City may be properly <br />patrolled; WHEREFORE, this Resolution shall take effect immediately from <br />and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. ~' <br />PASSED:_~ ~ ~^ <br />Francis J.
