<br />The minutes of Dec. 3rd were read arid approvEd.

<br />The Clerk advised that the ISrTayor,° Clerk and S,olicitor had
<br />met with the G. E. I. Co°. , officia].s and discussed a settle-
<br />ment of the old street li?hting bill. It °seemed" to be ;th.e
<br />concensus' of opinion that a fair' settlement would be about
<br />$30,000.00, paying: about ?1,000.00 per year yrithout interest.
<br />Ordinance' #-584 was introdueed by Mr. Decker. An Ordinance
<br />authorizing a contract with the C. E.' I. Co., for furnishing
<br />street li;htinc, service in the VillaGe of North plmsted for
<br />1941. Tvioved by ivTr. Decker seconcted by 12r: Tomes ; that the
<br />statutory rul,e be suspended and the orainance be read immedia-
<br />tely the second and third times and put on its passage. The
<br />affirmative vote on said motion was as folJ.ows., B3dUre11,
<br />Decker, Fawcet,t, Oldham, Stearns, Tomes. Thcreupon the
<br />ordinance was read the second and third times and put upon
<br />its passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as fo11ows.,

<br />authorizing the 'IN:ayor and Clerk to purchase 300 feet of
<br />"Raxwellt" .2-1/2 inch fire hose at yp1.05 per foot. Ta7oved by
