-3- <br /> <br />(e) Along the side line of a corner lot the distance of the building back from the <br />street line shall be 10%o of the average wid%h of such lot, but such distance back <br />from the street line need not be more than 10 feet. No building line shall be re- <br />quired along the side line of a corner lot where the rear of such lot adjoins a <br />street frontage along which no building line is required by this ordinance. <br /> <br />3. APPEALS - Whenever any parcel of land now separately owned and which was so <br />owned prior to the passage of this ordinance is of such res%tiered area that it <br />oanno2 be appropriately ~w?roved without building beyond the building line es- <br />tablished by this section, the Council may, on application in a specific ease <br />af~cer public notice and hearing, authorize the cons%ruction of a building beyond <br />said building line to an extent necessary ~o secure an appropriate ~provement of <br />such parcel of land. On applies%ion in a specific case, the Council may after publi <br />no%ice and hearing issue a conditional permit for the construe%ion of a building <br />beyond the building line established by this sec%ion, provided the public health, <br />safety, convenience or general welfare will not 2hereby be injuriously affected <br />or the appropriate use of neighboring proper~y seriously injured, <br /> <br />Section 2.
