Page 12. ~ULE 66 - DRIP OR ~LOW OFF PIPESI She use of drip or bl~w off pipes for draining fire pipes shall be all,wed ouly in Cases of absolute necessity, and in no caseshall their installation be permitted unless furnished with a sealed valve, which shall be approved view at'all times. Guch drips or blow off pipes shell not exceed S/4 inch inside diameter, unless with th~ consent.in v~iting of the Water Department, or ia the case of automatic sprin~ler system. RULE 69 - VALVES TO BE S~.~D: In allpipes used ~cr fire protection and not metered, all outlet valves on hydrants, hose connections and drips and blowcffs, ate., exclusive of main controlling valves, Lshall beclosed and sealed by the Water Department.
