t <br /> r~ ~ <br /> f` P <br /> any person or persons within the Cit3r of Lakewood, by barking, <br /> howling, biting or in any other manner. <br /> SECTION 6: Such dog running at large in or upon any of the <br /> places mentioned Sections 1 and 2 shall be prima facie evidence <br /> that it is running at large contrary to the provisions thereof. <br /> SECTION 7: The health officer or the police officer charged <br /> with the duty of enforcement of this ordinarn e may report any <br /> <br /> - violations to the Oount;; commissioner s or such agency as they <br /> may have designated for the impounding, housing or feeding of <br /> dogs in accordance vaith the provisions of the General Code, <br /> Sections 5652-8, 5652-00 and all other sections of the General <br /> -Code relating td the subject. <br /> SECTION A: Subject to the provisions and penalties provided in <br /> Section 2 hereof, who ever shall b e guilty of the violation of the <br /> ordinance upon conviction thereof shall be fined not less than One <br /> Dollars (1.00) or more than Twenty-five Dollars (~p25.00). <br /> SECTION 9: This ordinance is hereby dec]ared to be an emergency <br /> measure for the reasons stated in the preamble and, provided it <br /> receives the affis~tive vote of two-thin ds of all members elected <br /> to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br /> - upon its adoption and ap proval by the Mayor, and Ordinances Nos. <br /> 3213 and 1939 and al], other ordinances or parts of ordinances <br /> inconsistent herewith shall be and are hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> ' Adopted: MaY 6, 1940 <br /> Hugh.
