- 2 - B. Each such application shall be accompanied by combined license and in- spection fees as follows: Three dollars ($3°00) for each peddler and Three dollars ($3,00) for each vehicle or container to be operated or used in the sale of frozen desserts. Section 223-4. A. If, after investigation of the applicant and inspection of the equipment, the official charged with the enforcement of this ordinance is satisfied that such applicant and equipment complies in all respects with the pro- visions of this ordinance and ef all other crdinances applicable thereto, such official shall 1. Issue to the applicant an operator's license for the peddling of frozen desserts from vehicles or containers which operator's license shall specify the name and address of the person to whom issued, the location of the business for which the license is issued, the maximum number of peddlers permitted thereunder, the maximum number of vehicles or containers ~uich may he used, the date of expiration of the license, and such other pertinent in- formation as such official shall prescribe; and 2. Issue to the applicant specific licenses for each vehicle or container to be used in such peddling which shall be known as .peddler's licenses". In makingeny investigation or inspection with respect to licenses required by this ordinance, the regulations and inspectional work of other goverr~e~tal agencies which may apply may be taken into consideration provided such regulations and inspectional work are the equivalent of those in force within the City of Lakewood. B. The official charged with the enforcement of this ordinance may issue such operator's license and such peddler's licenses without a prior investigation provided such official is satisfied that such applicant has complied with the provisions of this ordinance and all other laws and ordinances applicable to such business and equipment. ~ C. All operator's licenses and peddler's licenses shall terminate as of December 31st in the calendar year during which such licenses were issuedo Section 223-5. Only holders of Food Vendors Licenses or the holders of Dairy Product permits issued by the City of Lakewood shall be eligible to apply for operator's licenses for the peddling of frozen desserts. Section 223-6. No peddler of frozen desserts shall cry his wares in a loud voice or use any noise producing device, other than a soft chime the limit cf audibility of which shall not exceed 100 feet from the source of such sound; and all such peddlers shall comply with the provisions of all other ordinances in force in the City of Lakewood. Section 223-7. No person, firm, corporation, partnership or association shall sell frozen desserts, except inside of licensed places of business in the City of Lakewood, unless the following requirements are complied with: A. All frozen desserts shall be completely wrapped or packaged so as to adequately protect the product from contamination and all such wrappings or packaging shall bear a label or have legibly printed thereon: I. Name of the product; 2. Nome and address of the manufacturer or manufacturers of such product; and 3. Net contents by weight or volume.
