Each such application shall be accompanied by combined license and in- <br />spection fees as follows: <br /> <br />Three dollars ($3°00) for each peddler and Three dollars ($3,00) <br />for each vehicle or container to be operated or used in the sale <br />of frozen desserts. <br /> <br /> Section 223-4. A. If, after investigation of the applicant and inspection <br />of the equipment, the official charged with the enforcement of this ordinance is <br />satisfied that such applicant and equipment complies in all respects with the pro- <br />visions of this ordinance and ef all other crdinances applicable thereto, such <br />official shall <br /> <br />1. Issue to the applicant an operator's license for the peddling <br />of frozen desserts from vehicles or containers which operator's <br />license shall specify the name and address of the person to whom <br />issued, the location of the business for which the license is <br />issued, the maximum number of peddlers permitted thereunder, the <br />maximum number of vehicles or containers ~uich may he used, the <br />date of expiration of the license, and such other pertinent in- <br />formation as such official shall prescribe; and <br /> <br />2. Issue to the applicant specific licenses for each vehicle or <br />container to be used in such peddling which shall be known as <br />.peddler's licenses". <br /> <br /> In makingeny investigation or inspection with respect to licenses required <br />by this ordinance, the regulations and inspectional work of other goverr~e~tal <br />agencies which may apply may be taken into consideration provided such regulations <br />and inspectional work are the equivalent of those in force within the City of <br />Lakewood. <br /> <br /> B. The official charged with the enforcement of this ordinance may issue <br />such operator's license and such peddler's licenses without a prior investigation <br />provided such official is satisfied that such applicant has complied with the <br />provisions of this ordinance and all other laws and ordinances applicable to such <br />business and equipment. ~ <br /> <br /> C. All operator's licenses and peddler's licenses shall terminate as of <br />December 31st in the calendar year during which such licenses were issuedo <br /> <br /> Section 223-5. Only holders of Food Vendors Licenses or the holders of <br />Dairy Product permits issued by the City of Lakewood shall be eligible to apply <br />for operator's licenses for the peddling of frozen desserts. <br /> <br /> Section 223-6. No peddler of frozen desserts shall cry his wares in a <br />loud voice or use any noise producing device, other than a soft chime the limit <br />cf audibility of which shall not exceed 100 feet from the source of such sound; <br />and all such peddlers shall comply with the provisions of all other ordinances <br />in force in the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> Section 223-7. No person, firm, corporation, partnership or association <br />shall sell frozen desserts, except inside of licensed places of business in the <br />City of Lakewood, unless the following requirements are complied with: <br /> <br />A. All frozen desserts shall be completely wrapped or packaged so as <br />to adequately protect the product from contamination and all such <br />wrappings or packaging shall bear a label or have legibly printed <br />thereon: <br /> <br />I. Name of the product; <br /> <br />2. Nome and address of the manufacturer or manufacturers of <br /> such product; and <br /> <br />3. Net contents by weight or volume. <br /> <br /> <br />
