- 3 - B. All frozen desserts shall be properly refrigerated at such temperature as shall maintain them in solid condition so as to inhibit bacterial growth. C. All persons employed as peddlers: (1) shall be at least sixteen (16) years of age; (2) shall be in the regular employ ef the licen- see; (3) shall wear clean, washable outer garments or uniforms, dis- closing the name of his employer thereon; and (4) shall maintain himself in a clean and personable condition. D. 1. All frozen desserts shall be trausportedandkeptuntil sold in containers made of non-porous, washable material which shall be washed after each day's use, kept in good repair and in a clean and sanitary condition at all times, andbe used only for the trans- ~ portation and refrigeration of frozen desserts. 2. Ail such containers shall conspicuously displ~ thereon in two places the nome of the frozen desserts and of the manufacturer thereof, the name of the licensee by whom the peddler is employed, and the peddler' s license issued therefor. 3. Ail containers used to peddle frozen desserts shall be re- turned to, properly cleaned and stored at the place of business of the licensee and all unsold frozen desserts shall be returned to and properly stored at such place of business, at the end of each business day. E. 1~ Ail vehicles used to sell frozen desserts shall be licensed and shall display on the two sides thereof, in letters not less than two (2) inches high, the name of the product ~r products and the manufacturer thereof, the name of the licensee, and the peddler~s license. 2o All such vehicles shall be of commercial metal construction, Properly insulated, and at all times shall be maintained in good repair, well painted, and clean and sa~.itary inside and Outside. 3. All such vehicles shall be stored or parked, when not act- ually in use, in a centralized rat-proof and rat-free garage or building maintained and operated in conjunction with the place of business of the licensee, provided, however, that dust-p~oof, sealed vehicles which are kept locked, may be stored in approved parking lots, operated in conjunction with the place of business of the licensee. F. All peddlers after having made asale or sales shall continue in the same forward diroction in which they have theretofore been moving. Each such move shall be a distance of not less than25 feet and each such move shall be made at intervals of not more than five minutes unless such peddler is actively and continuously engaged in the making of sales for a greater period of time. Section 223-8. A. No peddler shall sell frozen desserts in areas designated and posted by the Director of Public Safety as a congested area in whtch peddliB~ shall be prohibited. B. No peddler shall sell frozen desserts in any city park, city play- ground or in any other city grounds or buildings or in an~public schoolyard, public school building, or public school playground, without a written permit from the official in charge of such propertyo C. No peddler shall sell frozen desserts on private property without the consent of the owner or the occupant thereof.
